Textual analysis

For this textual analysis, I choose to use "Fallacy Butcher" the brand's website ( http://www.fallacybutcher.com/ ) to be my example of website.

Fallacy Butcher is a brand which sell clothing, headwear, accessories. Fallacy Butcher is a lifestyle project that remains personal and direct, reflective of the community and culture, independent thinking, to go against the absurd facts. It is a online shop in Hong Kong, and it also got some products sell in some shop in Hong Kong.

Now, I will talk about Fallacy Butcher website's content, structure and style, also how is Fallacy Butcher relevant or similar to my concept in mind.

First, the content of Fallacy Butcher is clear, their target audiences are teenagers as their mainly do online shopping. Also, the style of the website and their product are like hip hop. It includes six different pages insides and some can even separate into several pages. Under the title bar, they put three icon there and they are Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. You can get into the page of their Facebook, Instagram and YouTube when you click it. In the contact page, you can type your name, email and the message you want to ask there and send an email to them there.






Second, the structure of Fallacy Butcher is also very clear. You can know where you are going or where can you arrive the page that you want. In the home page, it has a title bar which shows all the six pages they got. You can clearly know how this website work, like going to the shop page or contact page. In the shop page, you can choose clothing, headwear, accessories and home. This kind of structure is also what I want to make as I want my portfolio to be more clear so people can check all my pages easily. Besides, the structure of the home page is also what I want to make. Fallacy Butcher uses some pictures, banners, video to combine it up. The style of the pictures and banners style is also my favorite too.

Last but not least, I choose Fallacy Butcher to be my example because I think the style of this website is almost exactly the style in my mind. For the style of Fallacy Butcher, they mainly use black, white and golden yellow to be their web site color. When I first know that I need to make a digital portfolio via web blog, my first idea color of my blog is black and white. Black and white is also match up with my clothing style, I always wear black and white as my dressing color.

Final, Fallacy Butcher is a page that most likely the page that I want to create for my digital portfolio no matter the structure or style. For my next exercises like image, remediation or remix, I will try to create it like Fallacy Butcher style as this page is my reference page.
